Deathbed Portrait

One version of my character is set in essentially the past of our current universe, and since he'd be just about grow old enough to the point where daguerreotype photography became affordable for special occasions it felt right to document his death in that way. Solidifying the idea that he's not some entity that just is ever-present with endless storylines.

Also, deathbed photography is just really fascinating.
